money, and that said bill be committed to the Committee co
Corporations.
On motion of Mr. Barnard, it was
Ordered, That it be entered upon the Journal that Mr.
Browning, of Garrett, in absent from his seat in this House
in consequence of sickness in his family.
Mr. Stewart submitted the following order:
Ordered, That on and after Monday next, the 28th inst
this House hold two Sessions a day, except on Saturday, when
one Session alone shall be held, except otherwise specially
ordeied. The morning Session to begin at 11 o'clock, A. M.
and to close promptly at 3 o'clock, P. M. The evening
Session to begin at 8 o'clock, P. M., and to end at 10 o'clock,
P. M., unless otherwise ordered; the evening Session to be
devoted to the consideration of local bills alone.
Which was read.
Mr. Lancaster submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Strike out "eleven," and insert "ten," before the word
"o'clock."
Decided in the negative.
The question then recurring upon the adoption of the
order submitted by Mr. Stewart,
