Which was read and referred to Messrs. Goldsborough,
Culbreth and Cockey.
Mr. Curtis presented the petition of Farmers' Minor Far-
mers' Club and other citizens of Baltimore county, for a law
to encourage the production of wool and mutton.
Which was read and referred to the Baltimore county
delegation.
Mr. Rutledge presented the petition of John Merryman, S.
T. George and others, for removal of Eastern Hay Scales
Which was read and referred to Messrs. Rutledge, Stewart
and Baldwin.
Mr. Nail presented a call upon the citizens of the State
of Maryland and City of Baltimore to meet at the Maryland
Institute in Baltimore city, on Nov. 30th, 1875, in reference
to late elections.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Elec-
tions.
Also,
A memorial adopted at the Mass Reform meeting held at
the Maryland Institute, in Baltimore city, on the 30th of
November, 1875, pursuant to a call signed by William Mac-
cubbin and about three thousand other citizens of the State
ot Maryland and City of Baltimore, demanding that the Le-
gislature shall throw out the vote of Baltimore city at the late
election.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Elec-
tions.
Mr. Fenton submitted the following order.
Ordered, That the provisions of Rule No 5, Regulations
of the House of Delegates be applied to the door and passage-
way leading from this Hall to the Speaker's Room, and that
the Sergeant-at-Arms be nstructed to immediately enforce the
rule.
Which was adopted.
Mr. Smith, of Dorchester, submitted the following order.
Ordered, That 5,000 copies of the Governor's Message be
printed, by the printer hereafter to be appointed, for the use
of this Souse.
