Mr. Scott presented the petition of Rebecca Eyler, for a pen-
sion.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sioas.
Mr. Griffith presented the petition of J. H. Davidson and
33 other citizens of Montgomery county, for re-districting the
said county.
Which was read and referred to the Montgomery delega-
tion.
Mr. Baldwin presented the petition of George H. Wade,
Charles W. Biddeson and 92 other males, and 32 females of
Baltimore county, asking for Local Option.
Which was read and referred to the Baltimore county del-
egation.
Mr. Whitelock presented the petition of 153 farmers of
Baltimore county, asking the passage of a law providing for
the sale of meat in Baltimore city.
Which was read and referred to the Baltimore city delega-
tion.
Also,
The petition of Milton Painter and 30 others, tax-payers of,
Baltimore county, asking the passage of a law to prevent
stock running at large within 15 miles of Baltimore city.
Which was read and referred to the Baltimore county del-
egation.
Mr. Lankford presented the petition of James V. Lankford,
William H. Roach and 56 other citizens of Somerset county,
for a dog law, to protect sheep.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Agri-
culture.
Mr. Rutledge presented the petition of Thomas Carroll,
Wm. G. King and 231 other citizens of Harford county, ask-
ing for Local Option.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means.
Mr. Ranger presented the petition of E. G. Nuller, D. H.
Eyerly, J. Sneyder and 78 others, asking for the passage of
a law, submitting to the voters of Baltimore city, or the sev-
eral wards thereof, and to the voters of the several counties
of the State, the question, whether licenses shall be granted
to sell intoxicating liquors as a beverage in said city, or the
wards thereof, and in said counties.

The petition of Mrs. Maggie Spenseller and 84 other
ladies, upon the same subject.
