Which were severally read and referred to the Committee
on Ways and Means.
Mr. Stewart presented the petition of numerous citizens
living in the neighborhood, remonstrating against a law for-
bidding the sale of liquors in the vicinity of Madison Avenue,
&c,
Which was read and referred to the Baltimore county del-
egation.
Together with the bill entitled an Act to prohibit the
granting of license for sale of spirituous liquors in the vicinity
of Druid Hill Park.
Mr. Goldsborough presented the petition of Wm. H. Com-
egys and 136 other citizens of Caroline county, asking to
have the Game Law so amended as to prevent the killing or
catching of Partridges in said county, between the 15th day of
February, and the 10th of November.
Which was read and referred to Messrs. Goldsborough,
Culbreth, and Neill,
Mr. Snowden presented the petition of Lettie A. Beall;
praying for the passage of a bill for her relief.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Claims.
Mr. Rutledge presented the petition of J. Martin McNalt,
and 450 other citizens of Harford county, asking that the
School Commissioners of said county may be elected by the
people.
Which was read and referred to the Harford delegation.
Mr. Naill presented the petition of Thos. G. Maynard,
Henry Baker, and 16 other citizens of Liberty town, in Fred-
erick county, asking for the passage of a law to better pre-
serve the peace of said town.
Which was read and referred to the Frederick delegation.
Mr. Briscoe presented the petition of Joseph Golibart,
and 45 others, asking for the repeal of the Grand Jury Law
for Cecil county.
Which was read and referred to the Cecil delegation.
Mr. Snowden presented the petition of James T. Perkins,
and 34 other citizens, asking for an additional election dis-
trict in Prince George's county.
Which was read and referred to the Prince George's delega-
tion.
Mr. Gwynn presented the petition of James T. Perkins,
and 25 others, asking for the repeal of the Acts of Assembly
of 1874, chapter 265, entitled an Act to remove all gates,
from the public road in Prince George's county,
