Dear Sir:—In compliance with an order of the House of
Delegates, passed January 25th, 1876, I have the honor to
transmit herewith to your Honorable Body, "a detailed state-
ment of the several sums appropriated to the support of the
Militia, by the Acts of January Session, 1874, giving the
persons to whom, and the services for which, said sums were
disbursed, and the several amounts."
The said disbursements, with the exception of the salary
of the Adjutant General, are all made upon warrants of the
Adjutant General, contersigned by the Governor and Com-
mander-in-Chief.

Mr. Baldwin presented the memorial of citizens and
tax-payers of Baltimore county, asking for the passage of a
law to prevent stock from running at large in Baltimore
county.
Which was read and referred to the Baltimore county del-
egation.
Mr. Rutledge presented the petition of 140 ladies of Har-
ford county, asking for Local Option.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means.
