On motion of Mr. Goldsborough, it was
Ordered, That Esma Lowe, folder of this House, be
granted leave of absence, he having been detained at home
on account of sickness.
Mr. Hart submitted the following order:

amountof stamps as the officers of the Senate.

On motion of Mr. Coburn,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to incorporate the National Lubricating
Company of Maryland.
On motion cf Mr. Neal,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Neal, Cockey and Dunbar to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 32, of Ar-
ticle 17, of the Code of Publ;c Local Laws, title ''Queen
Anne's," sub-title "Centreville," and to re-enact the same
with amendments, and to add additional Sections to said Ar-
ticle.
On motion of Mr. Ward,
Leave was granted to the Select Committee on Fisheries to
introduce a bill for the protection of fish within the waters
of Cecil county, by preventing the hauling of seines within a
prescribed time, and except under certain other restrictions.
On motion of Mr. Stewart,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore city delegation to in-
troduce a bill to authorize the Board of Commissioners of Fi-
nance, of the City of Baltimore, to protect the credit of the
city, and provide against the contingency of the City Council
not passing the necessary ordinances for the support of the
municipal government, and to meet the just obligations of
the city.
On motion of Mr. Hooper,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled an
Act to incorporate the Woodberry Manufacturing Company
of Baltimore county
On motion of Mr. Hoblitzell,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to repeal and re enact with amendments
chapter 395, of the Act of the General Assembly of 1874, en-
titled an Act to authorize the United States to procure the
condemnation of lands within the State of Maryland, for cer-
tain public purposes, and ceding the jurisdiction thereof,
when so condemned, to the United States.
