Mr. McGlone, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 620, 625, 626,
627 and 628, of Article 4, of the Public Local Laws, title
"City of Baltimore," sub-title "Justices of the Peace, and
Constables," and to re-enact certain Sections in lien of the
Sections so repealed.
Which was read the first time, and
On motion of Mr. McGlone,
Was ordered to be printed.
The bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments Sections 1 and 3, of chapter 35, of the Acts of 1864,
entitled an Act to incorporate the Methodist Episcopal
Church at Port Deposit, providing for the election of Trus-
tees of said Church.
Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
The bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 1, and add addi-
tional Sections 11 and 12, of chapter 437, of the Acts of the
General Assembly, passed January Session, 1874, entitled
an Act to authorize the citizens of Talbot and Dorchester
counties, to take or catch oysters with dredge, scoop or
scrape in the waters of the Choptank River, giving addi-
tional privileges to tongsmen, and to amend and re-enact the
same with amendments,
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The bill entitled an Act to prohibit the granting of license
for the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors or lager beer,
in the vicinity of Druid Hill Park,
Being upon a second reading,
On motion of Mr. Stewart,
The further consideration thereof was postponed, and said
bill referred to the Baltimore county delegation.
The bill entitled an Act to authorize the Town Commis-
sioners of Bel-Air, or the Treasurer of said town to receive
and receipt for certain moneys,
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The bill entitled an Act to extend the jurisdiction of Jus-
tices of the Peace for St. Mary's county, in cases of assault
and battery.
