the several Courts of Law in this State.
On motion of Mr, Vandiver,
Leave was granted to the Harford county delegation to in-
troduce a bill to empower the Commissioners of the Town of
Havre-de-Grace, to purchase, lease or condemn lands for pub-
lic parks or squares within the limits of said town.
On motion of Mr. Donaldson,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to in-
troduce a bill entitled an Act to add section to be numbered
thirty-eight, (38,) to Article 10, of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws.
On motion of Mr. Gill,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill entitled an Act relating to the Franklin
Bank of Baltimore.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a further supplement to an Act, passed at Decem-
ber Session, 1825, entitled "An Act to incorporate the Presi-
dent and Directors of the Fireman's Insurance Company of
Baltimore and the several supplements thereto.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Broadway
and Locust Point Steam Ferry Company of Maryland, and
to grant on certain conditions the right to use wharf known
as the county wharf...
On motion of Mr. Hodges,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to report a
bill to pay Sprigg Harwood, Clerk of the Circuit Court for
Anne Arundel county, a sum of money for fees due by the
State of Maryland.
On motion of Mr. Ford,
Leave was granted to the Somerset delegation to, introduce
a bill to incorporate Christ M. E. Church, Fairmount, Som-
erset county.
On motion of Mr. Ranger.
Leave was granted to the Washington county delegation
to introduce a bill to authorize the County Commissioners of
Washington county to fund certain indebtedness of the Board
of County School Commissioners of Washington county, to
issue bonds therefor, and levy a tax for the payment of the
same.
