The bill, as amended, was then read a second time, and
On motion of Mr. Purnell,
The further consideration thereof was postponed, and said
bill referred to the Committee on Corporations, and ordered
to be printed.
The bill entitled an Act to release Mortimer G. Griffith,
Philemon C. Griffith, Mary R. Dorsey and Emeline C. Orme,
children of Philemon Griffith, deceased, all the rights and
interest of the State of Maryland, in and to a bequest of
two thousand dollars, made by the will of said deceased to
his wife, Ann Griffith, who died before her husband, without
heirs,
Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of the Wor-
cester Railroad Company, and its supplements, was read a
second time, and
On motion of Mr. Purnell,
The further consideration thereof was postponed, and said
bill referred to the Committee on Corporations, and ordered
to be printed.
The bill entitled an Act authorizing the County Commis-
sioners of Garrett county to levy money for the payment of
wolf or other scalps destroyed within the limits of said
county,
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
The bill .entitled an Act to repeal Article 31 of the Code of
Public General Laws, entitled "Crows," so far as the same
relates to Harford and Montgomery counties,
Was read a third time, and passed by yeas and nays at fol-
lows :
