So the motion prevailed, and the motion to reconsider the
vote by which said bill had been passed, was laid on table.

sage :

Gentlemen of the Senate:
We have received a message from your Honorable Body,
requesting the return to your House, of House bill No. 49,
relating to the scraping and scooping of oysters in the
Choptank river. We hereby comply with your request, and
return the bill.

the bill named therein, returned therewith.
The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Maryland Live
Stock Company, of Baltimore city,
Being upon a second reading,

The enacting clause was stricken out.
Mr. Hart moved that the vote by which the enacting clause
was stricken out, be reconsidered.
On motion of Mr. Baldwin,
The motion to reconsider was laid on the table.

The House then proceeded to the consideration of
The Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the general
valuation and assessment of property in this State.
