The Secretary of the Senate returned the following bill en-
titled an Act granting to certain soldiers and widows of sol-
diers of the war of 1812, a pension of eighty dollars per an-
num, to be paid in quarterly installments, with proposed
amendments.
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Insert under head of "Baltimore City" the name of "Ma-
ria Mercer, widow of Archibald Mercer."
Prince George's county, "Mrs. E. E. Hall."
Amend by inserting the name of "Adaline F. Hayes, wi-
dow of John Hayes, of the war of 1812."
Anne Arundel county, after the name of " Wm. M. Hohn"
insert the name of "William Glover."
Prince George's county, insert the name of "Elizabeth
Ryon," also the name of "Catharine E. Small, of Prince
George's county, widow of Col. Jacob Small, a soldier of the
war of 1812."
Amend by inserting "Rachel Roach, widow of Caleb
Roach."
Under head of "Carroll County," insert "Mrs. Evans,
widow of Annon Evans."
Under head of "Baltimore City," add "Elizabeth Wil-
liams, widow of William Williams, of Capt. Buck's Compa-
ny."
After the last name in Baltimore county, insert after the
name-of "Mrs Keirl,'' "William Petticord."
