The bill entitled an Act to protect oysters in the waters of
Dorchester county, and to prohibit the taking thereof in the-
months of June, July and August of each year.
Endorsed: "Passed by yeas and nays with proposed
amendment."
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Insert at the end of Section 2 the following: "Provided
nothing in the two preceding Sections of this Act, or any
part thereof, shall apply to catching oysters in cither the
Great or Little Choptank river or their tributaries, in Dor-
Chester county.
