Mr. Clark submitted the following message :
BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,
March 27, 1876.
Gentlemen of the Senate :
We have received the message of your Honorable Body, in-
forming us of your non-concurrence in sundry amendments in
the Assessment Bill, made by this House, and asking this
House to recede from the same.
This House respectfully informs your Honorable Body that
it adheres to the said amendments, and asks your Honorable
Body to appoint a Committee of Conference. We have ap-
pointed on the part of the House, as managers, Messrs. Clark,
Robinson and Koons.

Chief Clerk.
Which was read, assented to, and sent to the Senate.
The Secretary of the Senate returned the following bill:
A bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 459, 464, and
469, of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled
"City of Baltimore," sub-title "Live Stock," and to re-enact
the same with amendments.
Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays, with proposed amend-
ments."
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Strike out "twelve hundred" and insert "one thousand."
Sec. 2, line 5, strike out "thirty" and insert "ten."
Line 7, after the word "for," strike out "or according to."

On motion of Mr. Gill,
"Were non-concurred in.
