No. 136. An Act to repeal Section 48, of an Act of the
General Assembly of Maryland, entitled an Act to amend
the charter of the City of Cumberland, by repealing Sections
22, &c., passed at the January Session of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, 1874, chapter 100, also to repeal Section
52, of Article 1, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Allegany county," sub-title "Cumberland," and
to re-enact the same with amendments.
No. 140. An Act to repeal Sections 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41,
42, 43, 44, 45, 47, 48, 49, 50 and 51, of Article 8, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Cecil county," and rela-
ting to Chesapeake city, also to repeal an Act entitled an
Act to repeal Section 46, of Article 8, of the Code of Public
Local Laws relating to the collection of taxes, fines and for-
feitures in Chesapeake city, passed April, 1861, chapter 87,
and to re-enact the same with amendments.
No. 141. An Act to authorize the County Commissioners of
Anne Arundel county to construct a bridge over Beard's
creek in said county, and to levy a sum of money for said
purpose.
No. 142. An Act for the protection of partridges, and to
prevent trespassing with dog or gun on private property in
Caroline county.
No. 143. An Act to provide for taking the vote of the
people of Montgomery county for or against the re-division of
said county into twelve Election Districts, at the election to
be held in the fall of 1876.
No. 144. An Act to repeal the 1st Section of the Act passed
at the January Session, 1854, chapter 122, of the General
Assembly of Maryland, entitled an Act amendatory of the
Act to incorporate the South Baltimore Company, passed
December Session, 1832, chapter 96, und to extend the dura-
tion of said Act to 1st January, 1880, and to appoint addi-
tional corporators, and to increase the capital stock of said
Company to $625,000, and to protect the rights of said Com-
pany from forfeiture by non-user.
No. 145. An Act to provide for an additional constable in
districts No. 2 and 3, Calvert county.
No. 146. An Act to enable the qualified voters of Worces-
ter county to determine, by ballot, whether spirituous or fer-
mented liquors shall not be sold in said county, or shall be
sold only as hereinafter described, and to repeal all Acts in-
consistent herewith.
No. 147. An Act to create a new Election District in
Prince George's county, to be known as District No. 13.
No. 148. An Act giving the sanction of the General As-
