Ordered, That Mr. Hance be granted leave of absence for
a few days on important business.

A bill entitled an Act to extend the provisions of an Act
passed at the Session of 1874, chapter 270, entitled au Act to
authorize the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to accept
conveyance of, and to hold certain property lying on or near
Charles street Avenue, in Baltimore county, for a Public
Park.
Which was read a first time.
The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower
the Governor to appoint an additional Justice of the Peace
in Cavetown District in Washington county,
