The bill entitled an Act to authorize and direct the County
Commissioners of Montgomery and Prince George's counties,
to appoint Examiners, whose duty it shall be to report their
respective Boards of County Commissioners whether public
convenience requires the building of a bridge over the north
West Branch, at the point where it is crossed by the. Sandy
Spring road,
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The bill entitled an Act to authorize and direct the Attor-
ney General of the State of Maryland, to institute proceed-
ings to forfeit the charter of the Gwynn's Falls Bridge Com-
pany of the Washington Road,
Being upon a second reading,
Mr. Hooper moved that the said bill be printed.
Decided in the negative.
The bill was then read a second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
The bill entitled an Act to add new new Sections to the
Code of Public General Laws, Article 30, title "Crimes and
Punishments," providing for the punishment of abduction of
children,
