additional Section thereto, allowing the shooting of water
fowl from sink-boats within the limits of Dorchester county,
on certain days in each week, and re-enact the same with
amendments.
On motion of Mr. Given,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to amend Article 13 of Public General Laws,
Maryland Code, volume 1, title "Bastardy and Fornication,"
in Sections 1 and 4, by striking out the word "white," when-
ever it appears, and to re-enact the same with an amend-
ment.
On motion of Mr. McGlone,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a hill entitled an Act to repeal Section 21 of Arti-
cle 38 of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Fees of Offi-
cers," sub-title "Notaries Public," and to re-enact the same
with an amendment.
On motion of Mr Atkinson,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and Means
to introduce a bill entitled an Act for the prevention of In-
temperance among the young men of Maryland.
On motion of Mr. McGlone,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 1, of Article
67, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Notaries Pub-
lic," as amended by the Act of 1872, chapter 191, and to re-
enact the same with amendments.
On motion of Mr. Waters, of Carroll,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Printing to intro-
duce a bill entitled an Act to provide for the Public Printing
of the General Assembly of Maryland.
On motion of Mr. Lambdin,
Leave was granted to the Dorchester Delegation to intro-
duce a bill to prevent the taking or catching of terrapin in
Dorchester county, from the 15th day of May until the 15th
of August.
On motion of Mr. Scott,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to incorporate the Virginia Annual Confer-
ence of the United Brethren in Christ.
