Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to intro-
duce a bill to pay Thomas and Patrick Kelly, owners of
Schooner Sophia, for damages done said schooner, by steam-
er Leila, the said steamer being the property of the State of
Maryland, and controlled by the State Fishery commissioners.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to repeal and re-enact Section 81, of Article
63, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Testamentary
Law," sub-title "Conveyances of Real Estate."
Also^
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill relating to Building Associations, Land
Companies, Saving Institutions, Building, Land and Saving
Institutions, Associations or Companies, and to all Com-
panies, Associations and Institutions for the loaning of
money incorporated under the Act of the General Assembly
of Maryland, passed at the Session of 1868, chapter 471.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to add a new Section to Article 37, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Evidence," to be sub-
title "Evidence and proof of Marriage and Legitimacy."
On motion of Mr. McGlone,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 2 and 3 of
Article 24 of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Con-
veyancing," and tore-enact the same with amendments.
On motion of Mr. Rullman,
Leave was granted to the Anne Arundel delegation to re-
port a bill to extend the term authorizing the Clerk of the
Circuit Court for Anne Arundel county to place certain fees
in the hands of the several Sheriffs of this State for collec-
tion.
On motion of Mr. Constable,
Leave was granted to the Cecil delegation to introduce a
bill to regulate the pay of State's Attorney for Cecil county.
On motion of Mr, Waters, of Dorchester,
Leave was granted to the Dorchester delegation to intro-
duce a bill to repeal an Act passed January Session 1872,
chapter 442, entitled an Act to amend Article 98 of the Code
