On motion 6f Mr. Hanger,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to introduce
a bill to refund to Nicholas Beard, certain moneys by him
erroneously paid into the State Treasury ; and authorizing
the County Commissioners of Washington county to refund
to him certain moneys by him erroneously paid for county
taxes.
On motion of Mr. Fenton,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and Means,
to introduce a bill to authorize the purchase of Campbell's
System of Indexing for use in the Record Office of the Su-
perior Court of Baltimore City.
On motion of Mr. Naill,
Leave was granted to the Frederick delegation, to report
a bill to create a new election district out of part of
Frederick Election District, No. 2, of Frederick county, to
be known as "Tuscarora District, or Election District No. 21."
On motion of Mr: Lamotte,
Leave was granted to the Carroll delegation, to introduce
a bill to extend the civil jurisdiction of Justices of the Peace,
in Carroll county.
On motion of Mr. Naill,
Leave was granted to the Frederick delegation, to in-
troduce a bill to create a new election district out of part of
Liberty District, No. 8, of Frederick county, to be known as
"Linganore District, or Election District No. 20."
