On motion of Mr. Mattingly,
Leave was granted to the Charles and St. Mary's delegations,
introduce a bill to permit the shooting of wild fowl from sink
boxes in the Wicomico River, between Charles and St. Mary's
counties
On motion of Mr. Lambdin,
Leave was granted to the Dorchester delegation, to
introduce a bill to regulate the sale of liquor in No. 1. 6 and
8 districts of Dorchester county.
On motion of Mr. Farrow,
Leave was granted the Washington county delegation to
introduces bill authorizing the Register of Wills of Wash-
ington county, to transcribe certain records in his office, and
directing the County Commissioners of said county to levy a
tax to pay therefor.
On motion of Mr. Bird,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to intro-
duce a bill to refund a certain sum of money to James P.
King, of Calvert county, for money erroneously paid into the
State Treasury,
On motion of Mr. Can by,
Leave was granted to the Montgomery and Prince
George's delegations to introduce a bill entitled an Act to
authorize and direct the County Commissioners of Mont-
gomery and Prince George's counties, to appoint examir
ners, whose duty it shall be to report to their respective
Boards of County Commissioners, whether the public conve-
nience requires the building of a bridge over the Northwest
Branch, at the point where it is crossed by the Sandy Springs
Road.
The Secretary of the Senate returned the following bills:
The bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 9, of Article 28,
of the Coiie of Public General Laws, relating to the publica-
tion of county expenses, so far as the same relates to Dor-
chester county, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Section 2, line 3, strike out the word "five" before the
word "hundred" and insert "six."
