been passed upon by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-
fifths of all of the members elected to each of the two Houses
of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect from the
date of its passage.

CHAPTER 471.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 17 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Prince George's County", sub-title "Justices of the Peace",
said new section to known as Section 5T1B to follow im-
mediately after Section 571A of said Article and to provide
that persons arrested for violation of any law in Prince
George's County shall be taken to the Justice of the Peace
available nearest to the place of arrest for commitment or
sentence and providing penalties for the violation thereof.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted 'by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and the same is hereby added to
Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Prince George's County", sub-title
"Justices of the Peace", said new section to be known as
571B to follow immediately after Section 571A of said Article
and to read as follows:
571B. In case any person shall be taken into custody in
Prince George's County because of a violation of any pro-
visions of law, whether public general or public local, or be-
cause of the violation of any ordinances or regulations of the
County Commissioners of Prince George's County or any
sub-divisional governmental body of the State or of Prince
George's County authorized to enact ordinances or regulations
with respect to Prince George's County, or to parts thereof,
such arrested person shall forthwith be taken before the
Justice of the Peace available nearest to the place of arrest
with respect to the charge made against him for which such
arrest was made and such Justice of the Peace shall make such
disposition of such arrested person as may be authorized by
law, either by commitment pending a hearing of the charge
before the Police Justice of Prince George's County or the
Circuit Court of Prince George's County or such other dis-
position as may be appropriate, with authority in said Justice
of the Peace to set the amount of bail-bond or collateral re-
quired for the release of such arrested person pending final
disposition of such charge as may be made against him. The
