follow immediately after Section 562 of said Article, under
the new sub-title of the above name, and to read as follows:

562A. (1) For the purposes of and as used in this Act,
the term "Hog Pens" shall mean any building, shed, barn or
other enclosure of any farm, lot, premises or portion of
premises upon which one or more swine are kept and fed.

(2) For the purposes of and as used in this Act, the term
"Garbage" shall mean the entrails or waste products of any
animal, fish, or fowl; refuse animal or vegetable matter from
a kitchen, market, store, or abatoir; or any admixture of
these materials with other refuse or feeding material.

562B. All persons, firms or corporations engaged in the
transportation of garbage over the highways of Prince George's
County must have a permit from the Board of County Com-
missioners of Prince George's County; and such transporta-
tion of garbage must be handled as prescribed under this Act.
The permit for the hauling of garbage must accompany the
vehicle in which the garbage is being transported and must be
shown on demand by any authorized officials. The provisions
of this Act shall be enforced by an officer authorized to make
an arrest in Prince George's Count}'; provided, however, that
nothing herein contained is to be construed to prohibit the
hauling of garbage within the Maryland-Washington Metro-
politan District of Prince George's County, where the person
or persons so hauling said garbage has a permit for hauling
the same, issued by the Washington Suburban Sanitary Com-
mission, or is authorized to remove garbage by or for any
municipality in said County.

562C. No hog pen where garbage is fed shall be established,
maintained or operated within one-half (1/2) mile of any public
highway or within one-quarter (1/4 ) mile of any residence,
place of business, public school or other public building,
except, the residence or place of business of the operator
thereof, his tenant or his agent, unless a license for such hog
pen and for feeding garbage to such swine has been issued by
the Board of County Commissioners of Prince George's County
as prescribed hereinafter.

562D. Applications for a license required by Sections 562B
or 5R2C of this Article shall be in writing addressed to the
Board of County Commissioners of Prince George's County
and shall set forth the following items:

(1) The name or names of the applicant;

(2) The method of transportation and places from which
such garbage shall be procured and to which it will be de
