(a) For the construction, reconstruction and maintenance
of roads and streets, exclusive of State Roads which are con-
structed, reconstructed and maintained by the State Roads
-Commission, at the discretion of the governing bodies of said
Incorporated Towns or Special Taxing Areas and free from
the supervision of the State of Maryland, and Montgomery
County.
(b) For debt service, that is to say, interest, sinking fund
or maturity requirements with respect to bonds or other evi-
dences of debt heretofore issued or to be issued in the future
for road or street improvement in said Incorporated Towns
and Special Taxing Areas.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws or parts of
laws, whether Public General Laws or Public Local Laws,
inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, be and they are
hereby suspended for the effective period of this Act.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 459.
AN ACT to add three new sections to Article 17 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Prince George's County", sub-title "Bladensburg", said new
sections to be known as Sections 60A, 60B and 60C, and to
follow immediately after Section 60 of said Article, relat-
ing to street and sidewalk improvements in the village of
Bladensburg, and authorizing the President and Commis-
sioners of said village to borrow money for said improve-
ments subject to referendum vote, and authorizing said
President and Commissioners to levy special assessments
for said improvements.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That three new sections be and they are hereby added to
Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Prince George's County", sub-title "Bladens-
burg", said new sections to be known as Sections 60A, 60B
-and-60G, to follow immediately after Section 60 of said Article,
and to read as follows:
60A. When the President and Commissioners of the Village
of Bladensburg shall have determined to construct sidewalks,
