immediately after Section 7A of said Article, to provide for
the expenditure and disposition of a portion of the "One
and one-half cent Lateral County and Municipal Road
Gasoline Tax Fund" allocated to Montgomery County to the
Incorporated Towns and Special Taxing Areas therein.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
89B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1935 Supplement),
title "State Roads", said new section to be known as Section
7Ai/£, to follow immediately after Section 7A of said Article,
and to read as follows:

7A1/. ). Out of the appropriation of the "One and one-half
cent Lateral County and Municipal Road Gasoline Tax Fund"
created by Section 212B, Article 56 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1935 Supplement), allocated by the said State
Roads Commission of Maryland to Montgomery County, the
State Roads Commission shall pay to Garrett Park, Town of
Gaithersburg, Mayor and Council of Glen Echo, Town of Som-
erset, Town of Takoma Park, Commissioners of Laytonsville,
The Commissioners of Poolesville, The Commissioners of Brook-
ville, Town of Kensington, The Commissioners of Barnes-
ville, The Mayor and Council of Rockville, Treasurer of Oak-
mont Citizens' Committee, Treasurer of Drummond Citizens'
Committee, Treasurer of Chevy Chase Citizens' Committee
Section Two, Treasurer of Chevy Chase Citizens' Committee
Section Three, Treasurer of Chevy Chase Citizens' Committee
Section Four, Treasurer of Chevy Chase Citizens' Committee
Section Five, Treasurer of Martin's Additions 1, 2, 3 and 4,
to Village of Chevy Chase Citizens' Committee, Treasurer of
North Chevy Chase Citizens' Committee, Treasurer of Friend-
ship Heights Citizens' Committee, on the first day of
January A. D. 1938, and on the same day of each and
every year while this Act is in effect, the proportion which
the number of miles of roads and streets in each incorporated
Town and Special Taxing Area, not including streets and
roads not yet opened, under the supervision and upkeep of
each Incorporated Town and Special Taxing Area bears to the
total number of miles of roads existing in Montgomery Coun-
ty, its Incorporated Towns and Special Taxing Areas, not
including State Roads and Streets and roads not yet open,
provided, however, that the total amount so paid shall not in
any year exceed twelve per cent. (12%) of the amount al-
located to Montgomery County. The amount so paid by the
State Roads Commission to said Incorporated Towns and
Treasurers of said Taxing Areas shall be for the following uses
and purposes:
