CHAPTER 416.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
31 of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1935
Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Regu-
lations and Restrictions", eliminating the provision which
prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages at a bar or coun-
ter between the hours of midnight and 6 A. M. or on
Sunday.

CHAPTER 417.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
588A of Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Montgomery County", sub-
title "Maryland-Washington Metropolitan District", as said
section was enacted by Chapter 165 of the Acts of 1933, and
to add a new section to said Article, said new section to be
known as Section 588B, and to follow immediately after
Section 588A of said Article, authorizing the Maryland-
National Capital Park and Planning Commission to name
and re-name the streets and highways and to number and
re-number the houses within the boundaries of the Seventh
Election District and of all the Precincts of the Thirteenth
Election District except the First Precinct as the bound-
aries of said Districts and Precincts existed on January 1,
1937, of the Maryland-Washington Metropolitan District
lying within Montgomery County and to provide rules and
regulations therefor, and to provide penalties for the viola-
tion thereof; and authorizing and directing the County Com-
missioners of Montgomery County to levy a tax for the pay-
ment of costs and expenses thereof.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 588A of Article 16 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Montgomery
County", sub-title "Maryland-Washington Metropolitan Dis-
trict", as said section was enacted by Chapter 165 of the Acts
of 1933, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments, and that a new section be and it is hereby added
to said Article, said new section to be known as Section 588B,
to follow immediately after Section 588A of said Article, and
all to read as follows:
