tween one hundred dollars and five hundred dollars, applicant
shall pay a fee of one dollar; between five hundred dollars and
one thousand dollars, a fee of two dollars; between one thou-
sand dollars and fifteen hundred dollars, a fee of three dollars;
between fifteen hundred dollars and three thousand dollars, a
fee of five dollars; between three thousand dollars and five
thousand dollars, a fee of seven dollars and fifty cents; between
five thousand dollars and ten thousand dollars, a fee of twelve
dollars and fifty cents; between ten thousand dollars and
twenty-five thousand dollars, a fee of twenty dollars; between
twenty-five thousand dollars and fifty thousand dollars, a fee
of twenty-five dollars; and fifty thousand dollars and over, a
fee of fifty dollars.
17f>. Any owner, agent, builder or contractor, who shall
erect or undertake, or authorize the erection of a building or
structure of any kind in said County, outside the City of An-
napolis, without first having obtained a permit, and after
receiving such permit, does not comply with the prescribed
regulations pertaining thereto, shall be guilty of a misde-
meanor punishable by a fine of not less than twenty-five dol-
lars ($25. 00), nor more than one hundred dollars ($ 100. 00) or
by imprisonment not exceeding six months or both such fine
and imprisonment, for each offense, and each day such viola-
tion shall be permitted to exist shall constitute a separate
offense. The County Commissioners shall prosecute violations
of this law before any Justice of the Peace of said County and
the amount of any fine or fines collected shall be paid over
'by said Justice of the Peace to the County Commissioners of
Anne Arundel County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
-effect from the date of its passage, it being declared an emerg-
ency law and necessary for the immediate preservation of the
health and safety.

CHAPTER 415.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections 71
and 71A of Article 39 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1935 Supplement), title "Fish and Fisheries", sub-title
"Part 3. Non-Tidal Waters", changing the open fishing sea-
sons for the catching of game or fresh water fish in Wash-
ington County and in the Monocacy River in Carroll
County.
