tem of indexing such records, and to index or cause to be
indexed or re-indexed according to such system all of such
records now on file in his office. For this purpose he is hereby
authorized, with the approval of the Judge or Judges of said
Court, to purchase all books or other supplies and equipment
needed, to contract for the making of said indexes and the
verification of said indexes when made. The total cost of
the necessary books, supplies and equipment and the mak-
ing and verification of the indexes shall be paid out of the
excess fees of the office of the said Clerk of the Court.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 353.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-sec-
tion Two (2) of Section 3 of Article 2B of Flack's 1935
Supplement to the Annotated Code of Maryland, title
"Alcoholic Beverages", section-title "Classes of Licenses",
sub-section title "Wholesaler's License", such amendments
authorizing wholesale licensees, in addition to existing
privileges to bottle alcoholic beverages, except brewed
alcoholic beverages.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sub-section Two (2) of Section 3 of Article 2B
of Flack's 1935 Supplement to the Annotated Code of Mary-
land, title "Alcoholic Beverages", section-title "Classes of
Licenses", sub-section title "Wholesaler's License", be and
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as
follows:

(2) WHOLESALER'S LICENSE. Such a license shall be issued
by the Comptroller and the holder of such a license shall be
authorized to import and purchase in bulk or otherwise, and
to bottle, and to keep for sale at the place or places therein
designated, and to sell from a central office or location which
shall also be designated in the license, all alcoholic beverages
to any other license holder in this State, and deliver the same
from the places designated to such license holder, or to a
common carrier for such delivery. No such license holder
shall be permitted to bottle any brewed alcoholic beverages
and/or to sell any alcoholic beverages for delivery in this
