State except to another license holder or to a dispensary if
such an establishment should be authorized in any county.
The annual fee for such license shall be one thousand dol-
lars ($l, 000. 00) and shall be payable to the Comptroller for
the use of the State before any such license is issued. No
such license shall be issued for any place of business located
in the following county: Garrett.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on and after the first day of June, 1937.

CHAPTER 354.

AN ACT to authorize the Chevy Chase Citizens' Committee
for the special taxing area or district known as Section 2
and Part of Section 1 of the Village of Chevy Chase, Mont-
gomery County, Maryland, to renew or extend an existing
contract with the Chevy Chase Club.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Chevy Chase Citizens' Committee for the special
taxing area or. district known as Section 2 and part of Sec-
tion 1 of the Village of Chevy Chase, Montgomery County,
Maryland, shall have the power to enter into an agreement in
writing with the Chevy Chase Club, a corporation organized
under the laws of the District of Columbia, for the renewal
or extension of an existing contract entered into in compliance
with the provisions of Section 9 of Chapter 610 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland of 1914, said renewal or
extension agreement to provide for the payment by said Club
of the sum of $2, 000 annually for an additional period of 10
years, in consideration of the use and enjoyment of the
streets, roadways and public services of said Village of Chevy
Chase, the said sums to be used and expended by said Chevy
Chase Citizens' Committee for the purposes authorized in said
existing contract.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.
