State's Attorney's office and such other work as he may be
directed by the said State's Attorney in accordance with law,
and said Law Assistant may appear in any Court on behalf
of the State or before any Justice of the Peace, including the
Police Justice, at the direction of the State's Attorney and
before entering upon his duties he shall give bond to the State
of Maryland for the faithful performance of Ms duties in the
sum of Twenty-Five Hundred Dollars ($2, 500. 00) the premium
on said bond to be paid by the County Commissioners of
Prince George's County.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 293.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 308
of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Prince George's County", sub-title "County Com-
missioners", as said section was amended by Chapter 455 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of 1935 increasing the
compensation of the County Commissioners of Prince
George's County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 308 of Article 17 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's County", sub-
title "County Commissioners", as said section was amended
by Chapter 455 of the Acts of 1935, be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to read as
follows:

308. The five County Commissioners for Prince George's
County shall each receive as full compensation for their
services, the sum of three hundred ($300. 00) dollars per annum
payable monthly and shall not receive any extra compensation
of any kind whatsoever and they shall meet at their office in
Upper Marlboro twice in each month or oftener if in their
judgment the public interest shall require.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.
