CHAPTER 294.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 842
of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Prince George's County", sub-title "Orphans' Court",
as said section was amended by Chapter 457 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of 1935 increasing the compensation
of the Judges of the Orphans' Court.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 842 of Article 17 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's County", sub-
title "Orphans' Court", as said section was amended by
Chapter 457 of the Acts of 1935, be and the same is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to read as
follows:
842. The judges of the Orphans' Court of Prince George's
County shall each receive a per diem salary of twelve dollars
($12. 00) to be paid by the County Commissioners of said
county in quarterly payments and the first payment on ac-
count of such salary shall be made on the first Tuesday in the
month of July, 1923, and thereafter on the first Tuesday in the
months of October, January, April and July in each year; and
the County Commissioners of said County at the time for their
annual levy for the year 1923, and annually thereafter, shall
levy upon the assessable property of the said County a sum
sufficient to pay the salaries of the judges of the Orphans'
Court as above provided.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 295.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 6
of Article 52 of the Code of Public General Laws of Mary-
land, as amended by Chapter 24 of the Acts of the Special
Session of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1936, re-
lating to the jurisdiction of justices of the peace and to
provide for the increase in the jurisdiction of the justices
of the peace of Prince George's County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 6 of Article 52 of the Code of Public General
