petition shall set forth in complete detail each and all the pro-
visions of the ordinance, in proper form to be submitted for
adoption or rejection, (c) that such petition shall be sworn to
as to the genuineness of the signatures thereon or attached
thereto, by the person presenting such petition to, or filing such
petition with, said Commission, and (d) that not less than
ten (10) typewritten or printed copies of such petition be
filed with said Commission at the time that the original pe-
tition is so presented or filed. And any such ordinance shall go
into force in the same manner as is provided for in Sub-section
(A) of this section.

Sub-section (C) of Section 10. That, before entering upon
the duties of his office, each member of said Board shall take
the Constitutional oath of office before the Chairman Commis-
sioner, or before a Justice of the Peace or other officer or per-
son, (including a Notary Public), authorized by law to admin-
ister oaths in Prince George's County.

Sub-section (L) of Section 10. That annually on the first
Monday in May, if not a legal holiday and if said first Monday
in May is a legal holiday, then on the day following, said
Board of Election Supervisors shall conduct an election by
ballot for the election of the Commissioners to constitute
and be the District Heights Commission until their suc-
cessors shall have been elected and qualified. For each elec-
tion there shall be one voting place in said town, and the
polls shall be open and the ballots cast between the hours of
5 o'clock P. M. and 10 o'clock P. M. At the first election
following the passage of this Act each registered voter shall
be allowed to vote for three candidates and the person re-
ceiving the highest number of votes for Commissioner shall
serve for three years, the person receiving the second highest
number of votes shall serve for two years, and the person re-
ceiving the third highest number of votes shall serve for one
year. That annually thereafter, on the first Monday in May,
(if not a legal holiday, and if a legal holiday on the day follow-
ing), said Board of Election Supervisors shall hold an elec-
tion by ballot to elect a Commissioner whose term shall be for
three years to succeed the Commissioner whose term expires at
that time.

Sub-section (P) of Section 10. That after the polls are
closed on the night of the election, the Board of Election Super-
visors shall count the votes, and, at the first election following
the passage of the Act, the three candidates who shall have re-
ceived the greatest number of votes shall be deemed to be
elected Commissioners, and thereafter, the one person re-
ceiving the highest number of votes shall be deemed elected
