has never been convicted of a felony, nor adjudged guilty of
violating the laws governing the sale of intoxicating liquors or
for the prevention of gambling in the State of Maryland.

Fifth: That the applicant is not the owner of, or licensee
named in, any other license then in force; the intention of
this Act being that no individual, firm, corporation or asso-
ciation shall carry on the business herein designated at more
than one location.

Sixth: That the applicant intends to carry on the business
authorized by the license for himself or for a firm, corporation
or association and not as an agent of any other individual,
and that if licensed he will not carry on such business as the
agent of any other individual.

Seventh: That the applicant intends to superintend in
person the management of the business licensed, and if so li-
censed he will superintend in person the management of the
business. If the license is issued to a corporation or associa-
tion, the application must specify the name of the individual
who will superintend or manage the business as specified in
this sub-section.

Eighth: That the applicant will not sell any of the bev-
erages herein designated to any person under the age of
twenty-one (21) years-
Ninth: That the applicant will prohibit dancing on his
premises on Sunday.

This application must be verified by the affidavit of the pe-
titioner made before a Notary Public, or other person duly
authorized by law to administer oaths. If any false statement
is made in any part of said application, the applicant or appli-
cants shall be deemed guilty of perjury; and, upon conviction
thereof, his license shall be revoked and the applicant sub-
jected to the penalties provided by law for that crime.

421E. Licenses issued under the authority of this Act shall
be of two kinds: (1) "On sale" licenses, which shall permit the
licensee to sell beverages for consumption both on and off the
premises; and (2) "Off sale" licenses, which shall permit the
licensee to sell for consumption off the premises only, not less
than one-half dozen bottles of brewed beverages as defined in
this Act, and not less than one quart of fermented beverages
as defined herein; provided that no sales shall be made to
any person under the age of twenty-one (21) years.

421F. All applicants for "On sale" licenses shall pay to
Harford County a license fee of One Hundred and Fifty Dol-
lars ($150) per annum, the same to be paid before the license
is issued. "Off sale" license fees shall be Fifty Dollars ($50)
per annum, payable in like manner. Each kind of license shall
