SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 368 to 379, inclusive, of Article 15 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Kent County", sub-title "Sassafras", be and they are hereby
repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

Approved May 18, 1937.

CHAPTER 262.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 611-631, inclusive, of Article 22 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Washington County", sub-title "Leitersburg", to re-
peal the Charter of the Town of Leitersburg, in Washing-
ton County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 611-631, inclusive, of Article 22 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Washington County", sub-title "Leitersburg", be and they are
hereby repealed.

Sac. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

Approved May 18, 1937.

CHAPTER 263.

AX ACT to add a new section to Article 5 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Calvert
County", sub title "County Treasurer", said new section to
be known as Section 89A and to follow immediately after
Section 89 of said Article, authorizing the County Treas-
urer to appoint a deputy and directing the County Com-
missioners to levy taxes to pay the salary of said deputy,
and authorizing the said Commissioners to pay the Treas-
urer for clerk hire for the years 1935 and 1936.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
5 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
