gany County, Maryland, are hereby constituted and made a
body corporate by the name of the Mayor and Commission-
ers of Cresaptown, with all of the privileges of a body corpo-
rate, and by that name may sue and be sued, may have and
use a common seal and have perpetual succession.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the corporate limits
of the said town shall be as follows: Beginning at a point in
the center of the North edge of the concrete bridge, where the
McMullen Highway (U. S. No. 220) crosses Warrior Run, and
running thence with the Northerly meanders of said run and
crossing the run to the South side, in an Easterly direction,
to a concrete monument, set as a corner of the Celanese
Corporation of America, said monument standing on the
South bank of Warrior Run and running thence with the
Southerly property lines of said Celanese Corporation S. 75
degrees E. 46 feet to a concrete monument, standing N. 37
degrees W. 11. 6 feet from a large white oak tree, anciently
marked with three notches, also marked with the letter "G";
then still with the property lines of said Celanese Corporation,
in a Southeasterly direction to a concrete monument on the
North side of the Brady Road, opposite a Southeasterly di-
rection, to a concrete monument, set as a corner of said
Celanese Corporation and the right of way limits, on the
North side, of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad; then leav-
ing said property lines of the Celanese Corporation and run-
ning the Western right of way limits of said Railroad, in a
South-westerly and Southerly direction, about 4, 500 feet, to
a small red oak tree, marked with six notches and the letter
"C", standing on the South side of a ravine; then leaving said
Railroad right of way limits and running up said ravine, in a
Westernly direction about 2, 000 feet to a concrete monument,
standing on the West side of the Winchester Road, set as a
corner of the cemetery for St. Ambrose's Church; then with
the lines of said cemetery, in a Northwesterly direction about
300 feet to a concrete monument, also a corner of said
cemetery; then leaving the lines of said cemetery and running
in a Northwesterly direction about 1, 100 feet to a large oak
tree, marked with the letter "C", standing on the East side
of the aforementioned McMullen Highway; then with said
Highway with the Lone Oak Road, about 1, 500 feet; then
with said Lone Oak Road on Westerly side, in a Northwester-
ly direction about 2, 700 feet to the intersection with the El-
liott Road; then in a Northerly direction about 2, 000 feet to a
Walnut tree, marked with six notches, standing on the South-
ern slope of a hill; then in an Easterly direction about 2, 500
feet to a rock on the West slope of a hill, 100 feet East of the
road leading from the National Pike to Cresaptown; then
running in a Southerly direction, parallel to and 100 feet
