sub-title to be known as "Witnesses", said new sections to
be known as Sections 560, 560A, 560B, 560C, 560D and 560E
of said Article, and to follow immediately after Section 559
of said Article, to secure the attendance of witnesses from
without a State in criminal proceedings.

CHAPTER 150.

AN ACT to add six new sections to Article 27 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1935 Supplement), title "Crimes and
Punishments", sub-title "Jurisdiction, Procedure and Sen-
tence", sub-title "Jurisdiction", said new sections to be
known as Sections 549B, 549C, 549D, 549E, 549F and 549G,
to follow immediately after Section 549A of said Article,
to make uniform the law on fresh pursuit, and authorizing
this State to cooperate with other states therein.

(Vetoed. )

CHAPTER 151.

AN ACT to add one new section to Article 21 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Convey-
ancing", sub-title "Conveyances in General", said new section*
to be known as Section 1A, and to follow immediately after
Section 1 of said Article, authorizing conveyances by un-
married women of redeemable ground rents.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
21 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title
"Conveyancing", sub-title "Conveyances in General", said new
section to be known as Section 1A, to follow immediately after
Section 1 of said Article, and to read as follows:

1A. Any unmarried woman over eighteen years of age is
hereby authorized to transfer and convey her interest in the
title to the fee and reversion in the land out of which any
redeemable ground rent issues in the same manner and to the
