chandise or freight, or to construct or repair the line or works
of any public service corporation located thereat, or to permit
removal of such vehicle, if disabled.

422C. No vehicle, except a bicycle, shall be parked with any
wheels thereof upon any sidewalk in Anne Arundel County.

422D. As used in the preceding five sections, the term
"vehicle" shall include any automobile, truck, motorcycle,
wagon, carriage, omnibus, pushcart, bicycle, and/or convey-
ances similar thereto.

Any person violating any of the provisions of the preceding
five sections shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, on convic-
tion thereof before any Justice of the Peace for Anne Arundel
County, shall be subject to a fine of not less than One Dollar
($1. 00) and not more than Twenty-five Dollars ($25. 00).

SEC, 2. And 6e it further enacted, That all laws or parts of
laws, whether Public General or Public Local Laws, incon-
sistent with the provisions of this Act, be and they are hereby
repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 148.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 41 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1935 Supplement), title "Governor—
Executive and Administrative Departments", sub-title
"Parole Commissioner", said new section to be known as
Section 56, and to follow immediately after Section 55 of
said Article, providing that the State of Maryland may
enter into a compact with any of the United States for
mutual helpfulness in relation to persons convicted of
crime or offenses who may be on probation or parole.
