relating to the Charter of the town of Clarksburg.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 171, 172, 173, 174, 175, 176, 177, 178, 179,
180, 181, 182, 183, 184, 185, 186 and 187 of Article 16 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Montgomery County", sub-title, "Clarksburg", be and the
same are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And tie it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 109.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections 98
and 100 of Article 23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wicomico County", sub-title
"Justices of the Peace and Constables", as said section was
amended by Chapter 11 of the Acts of the Extraordinary
Session of 1936, increasing the salary of the Judges of the
People's Court and of the Clerk to the Judge of the People's
Court of Wicomico County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 98 and 100 of Article 23 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wi-
comico County", sub-title "Justices of the Peace and Con-
stables", as said section was amended by Chapter 11 of the
Acts of the Extraordinary Session of 1936, be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments to read as follows:

98. The said Judge of the People's Court shall receive an
annual salary of Twenty-seven Hundred Dollars ($2, 700. 00),
in monthly installments of Two Hundred Twenty-five Dollars
($225. 00) each, of which amount the sum of One Hundred
Sixty-eight Dollars and Seventy-five Cents ($168. 75) per
month shall be paid by the County Commissioners for Wi-
comico County and the sum of Fifty-six Dollars and Twenty-
five Cents ($56. 25) per month shall be paid by the Mayor and
Council of Salisbury, Maryland, which said salary shall be in
lieu of all fees and costs collected by said Justice of the Peace
in both civil and criminal cases, and all said fees and costs col-
lected by him shall be paid to the County Treasurer of Wi-
comico County.
