Ordinance Book and all proceedings relating to the opening,
closing, widening, grading or paving of any street or alley or
part thereof, including reports of Commissioners on same, in a
suitable book and index same. The clerk shall also keep the
assessment books of said town, with names of owners of prop-
erty arranged alphabetically and the properties so described as
to identify same, stating the value of each piece thereof. The
collector and treasurer shall each keep full and fair account
of all money received by each of them, respectively, and the
treasurer shall keep a full and fair account of all money paid
out and all money paid out shall be by check upon some bank
where said money shall be deposited. The collector shall ac-
count to and pay over unto the treasurer at the end of each
month all monies collected by him. The clerk as such shall
not be required to give bond.

169. Immediately after the levy is made by the Commis-
sioners in each year the collector shall give notice of the mak-
ing of the levy by posting notice of same in at least four places
in said town. He shall make out and mail or deliver in person
to each taxpayer or his agent a bill or account of the taxes
due by him, giving the amount of real and personal property
with which he is assessed, the rate of taxation and the amount
of taxes due and the date from which they bear interest. He
shall keep a copy of the notice with a memorandum thereon of
the date of mailing or delivering of said notice, as the case
may be, which shall be prima facie evidence of the mailing or
delivering of same.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1037.

CHAPTER 89.

An ACT to survey and locate the division line between Fred-
erick and Carroll Counties from the bridge over Sam's Creek
on the Buffalo Road at what was formerly Warfield's Mill
to Parr's Spring, and mark the same with stones, and to
provide penalties for the removal, mutilation or destruction
of any stone so placed.

WHEREAS by Chapter 256 of the Acts of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, passed at the December session in the year
1835, and confirmed by Chapter 19 passed at the next succeed-
ing session, the boundary line between Frederick and Carroll
