23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Wicomico County", sub-title "County Com-
missioners", said new section to be known as Section 26B, to
follow immediately after Section 26A of said Article, and to
read as follows:
26B. On or before July 1, 1937, and thereafter whenever
a vacancy occurs, the County Commissioners of Wicomico
County may, in their discretion, appoint a duly qualified
person to act as policeman in the Willards, Dennis and
Pittsburg Districts of said County on every Saturday
and Sunday during each year. The County Commis-
sioners may remove such policeman at any time. Such
policeman shall have power to arrest, and shall pre-
serve order and enforce the laws in said Districts, and shall
receive as compensation for such services Five Dollars ($5. 00)
per day, which shall be paid monthly by the County Com-
missioners and provided for in their annual levy. Such police-
man, before entering upon the performance of his duties,
shall take oath before a Justice of the Peace of Wicomico
County, that he will faithfully, fairly and without prejudice
or partiality perform the duties of his office.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 535.
AN ACT to add one new section to Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1935 Supplement), title "Alcoholic
Beverages", sub-title "Regulations and Restrictions", to be
known as Section 31A, to follow immediately after Section
31 of said Article, to regulate the sale of alcoholic bever-
ages in Frederick County on Sundays.
