faithful performance of the contract entered into, which said
bond shall be liable to suit by the said Commission entering
into its respective contract or contracts covered by said bond,
and all contracts entered into by said Commissions for their
respective work shall be binding upon The County Commis-
sioners of Dorchester County, Maryland, to the extent of the
respective allocation of each Commission of the said "Dor-
chester County School Bonds of 1937" fund. All contracts for
amounts of Five Hundred Dollars ($500. 00), or over, shall be
in writing, and the signature of the Chairman of the respective
Commissions, attested by their respective Secretaries, if duly
authorized by the respective Commissions, or a quorum there-
of, shall be a sufficient execution of such contract on the part
of the respective Commissions. In all of said contracts of the
respective Commissions the said contractor or contractors, as
part of his or their contract or contracts, shall agree to pay for
all material and labor used in the construction of the same
and furnished, and in any bond, as hereinbefore provided for,
shall include the guaranty of payment of labor and for
material.

SEC. 11. And be it further enacted, That after the said work
for the respective schools has been finished or the equipment
purchased, should there be any balance or remainder left in
the said "Dorchester County School Bonds of 1937" fund
allocated to the respective Commissions, the said respective
Commissions shall issue orders, vouchers, or warrants for
their respective balances to be paid over to Dorchester County,

SEC. 12. And be it further enacted, That the authority
hereby conferred upon The County Commissioners of Dor-
Chester County, Maryland, to borrow money on the faith and
credit of Dorchester County, in their discretion, and to issue
bonds therefor, is in addition to any similar power and bor-
rowing authority heretofore conferred upon them.

SEC. 13. And be it further enacted., That the Treasurer of
Dorchester County shall keep in a book to be provided for
that purpose, a full registry of the bonds sold, the serial
numbers of said bonds, the names of the purchasers, the
amounts realized thereon, and all redemptions and maturities
thereof.

SEC. 14. And be it further enacted, That the County Com-
missioners of Dorchester County, Maryland, be, and they are
hereby authorized, in their discretion, to negotiate with and
accept and receive from the United States Government, if
obtainable, a forty-five per cent. (45%) grant of the estimated
