are hereby authorized to make or establish regulations requir-
ing sales of alcoholic beverages to be made only in accordance
with such different standard of time.
(i) The provisions of this section shall apply to the first,
second, third, fourth, seventh and eighth election districts
of Anne Arundel County only.
(j) In the City of Annapolis the Mayor, Counsellor and
Aldermen shall have the power to fix the hours of sale of the
licenses authorized to be issued in said City.
85. BALTIMORE CITY, (a) In Baltimore City an Amuse-
ment License shall authorize the holder thereof to keep for sale
and sell all alcoholic beverages at all hours except between the
hours of 2 o'clock A. M. and 6 o'clock A. M. of each day.
(b) No sales shall be permitted by the holder of a Class D,
Beer, Wine and Liquor license (without amusement permit)
between the hours of 1 A. M. on Sunday and 6 A. M. the follow-
ing day.
85A. BALTIMORE COUNTY. In Baltimore County no
sales shall be permitted by Glass D, Beer, Wine and Liquor
licensee between the hours of 2 A. M. Sunday and 6 A. M. the
following day.
85B. CALVERT COUNTY. In Calvert County no sales
shall be permitted by a Class D, Beer, Wine and Liquor licensee
between the hours of 12 o'clock midnight Saturday and 6 A. M.
the following Monday.
86. CHARLES COUNTY. In Charles County, notwith-
standing any other provision of this sub-title, it shall be unlaw-
ful for any licensee under this sub-title to sell liquors on the
Sabbath Day commonly called Sunday, nor shall any liquors
be sold by any licensee between the hours of 12 midnight and
6 o'clock A. M. But this section shall not prevent the sale of
any wine, beer or other spirituous or fermented beverages con-
taining less than 8% alcohol by volume, on any day, including
Sunday, or at any time except between the hours of 12 mid-
night and 6 o'clock A. M. The premises where any alcoholic
beverages are sold shall be closed at midnight. Any person
violating any of the provisions of this section shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor and upon trial and conviction shall
be subjected to a fine of not less than fifty dollars (f 50.00) nor
more than two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00), or may
be confined in the county jail or in the House of Correction
for not less than sixty days.
