(i) HOWARD COUNTY. In Howard County the license fee
shall be four hundred dollars ($400.00) annually.

(j) PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY. In Prince George's County
the license fee shall be one hundred and fifty dollars ($ 150.00)
annually.

(k) TALBOT COUNTY. In Talbot County no such license shall
be issue'd except to grocery stores, drug stores, incorporated
clubs, restaurants and hotels which have been doing business
in said county for more than one year prior to the date of the
application for such license. The annual fee for such a li-
cense shall be One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00).

(1) WASHINGTON COUNTY. In Washington County the license
fee shall be one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) annually.

(m) EXCEPTIONS. This section shall not apply to Caroline,
Charles, Dorchester, Garrett, Harford, Kent, Montgomery,
Queen Anne's, St. Mary's, Somerset, Wicomico, and Wor-
cester counties, in all of which jurisdictions such licenses
shall not be issued.

17. BEEE, WINE AND LIQUOR LICENSES, CLASS B
(ON SALE)—HOTELS AND RESTAURANTS, (a) GENERAL
PROVISIONS. A Class B beer, wine and liquor license shall be
issued by the Clerk of the Circuit Court of the County in which
the place of business is located, or by the Clerk of the Court
of Common Pleas for Baltimore City, if the place of business is
located in said City, and shall authorize the holder thereof to
keep for sale and sell all alcoholic beverages at retail at any
hotel or restaurant at the place therein described, for con-
sumption on the premises or elsewhere. The annual fee for
such a license shall be seven hundred and fifty dollars
($750.00), except as hereinafter provided, and shall be payable
to said Clerk, before any such license is issued, for distribution
as hereinafter provided.

(b) ALLEGANY COUNTY. In Allegany County the annual fee

for such license shall be Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00).

(c) ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY. In Anne Arundel County, out-
side the City of Annapolis, such licenses shall be of two types,
as follows:

(1) Class L R, on sale generally, in restaurants, with music
but with neither dancing nor other similar entertainment, for
which the annual license fee shall be eight hundred dollars

($800.00).

(2) Class L R D, on sale generally, in restaurants, with
music, dancing and other legal forms of entertainment, for
