steamboat, steamship, ferry boat or other vessel used for the
transportation of passengers operated in this State, to sell
beer only for consumption at the public bar, dining room or
other room space provided for such sale and consumption. One
such license shall be issued for each such steamboat, steamship,
ferry boat or other vessel on which such beverages are sold as
aforesaid, and every such license shall be good throughout this
State. The annual fee for such a license shall be fifty dollars
($50.00) per boat, and shall be payable to the Comptroller, for
the use of the State, before any such license is issued. No
holder of any such license shall be permitted to make any sale
thereunder while the licensed vessel is made fast to any wharf
or pier in any county where such sales are prohibited by local
law.

BEER AND LIGHT WINE LICENSES

11. BEER AND LIGHT WINE LICENSE, CLASS A (OFF
SALE, (a) GENERAL PROVISIONS. A Class A beer and light
wine license shall be issued by the Clerk of the Circuit Court
of the County in which the place of business is located, or by
the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas of Baltimore City, if
the place of business is located in said city. Such license shall
authorize the holder thereof to keep for sale, and to sell beer
and light wines at retail, in any quantity to any consumers, at
the place therein described, and to deliver the same in a sealed
package or container, which package or container shall not be
opened nor its contents consumed on the premises where sold.
The annual fee for such a license shall be thirty-five dollars
($35.00) and shall be payable to said Clerk, before any such
license is issued, for distribution as hereinafter provided.

(b) ALLEGANY COUNTY. In Allegany County the annual fee
for such a license shall be Seventy Dollars ($70.00. The said
package or container shall not be opened nor its contents,
consumed on any premises in which the licensee shall have any
direct or indirect interest.

(c) ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY. In Anne Arundel County such
license shall be known as Class WP, off sale, and the annual
license fee for such license shall be seventy-five dollars ($75.00).

(d) CECIL COUNTY. In Cecil County the annual license fee
for such license shall be fifty-five dollars ($55.00).

(d-1) HARFORD COUNTY. In Harford County the annual
fee for such a license shall be Forty Dollars ($40.00), and
licenses shall be issued by the Liquor Control Board of said
County.
