9. BEER LICENSE, CLASS D (ON SALE)—GENER-
ALLY, (a) GENERAL PROVISIONS. A Class D beer license shall
be issued by the Clerk of the Circuit Court of the County in
which the place of business is located, and shall authorize the
holder thereof to keep for sale and to sell beer at retail, at the
place therein described, for consumption on the premises or
elsewhere, but no such license shall be issued for any drug
store. The annual fee for such a license shall be fifty dollars
(|50.00) and shall be payable to said Clerk, before any such
license is issued, for distribution as hereinafter provided.

(b) ALLEGANY COUNTY. In Allegany County the annual fee
for such a license shall be One Hundred Dollars ($ 100.00).

(c) ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY. In Anne Arundel County such
licenses shall be of two types, as follows:

(1) Class BT, on sale generally, taverns, without music
or dancing or other similar entertainment; the annual license
fee shall be seventy-five dollars ($75.00).

(2) Class BTM, on sale generally, taverns, with music,
but without dancing or other similar entertainment; the
annual license fee shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00).

(cc) CALVERT COUNTY. In Calvert County the annual fee
for such a license shall be One Hundred Dollars ($100.00).

(d) CECIL COUNTY. In Cecil County the annual license fee
for such license shall be seventy-five dollars ($75.00).

(d-1) CHARLES COUNTY. In Charles County the annual fee
for such a license shall be One Hundred and Twenty-five
Dollars ($125.00).

(e) GARRETT COUNTY. In Garrett County the annual license
fee for such a license shall be one hundred and fifty dollars
($150.00).

(f) HOWARD COUNTY. In Howard County the annual license
fee for such license shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00).

(f-1) ST MARY'S COUNTY. In St. Mary's County the an-
nual fee for such a license shall be Twenty-five Dollars

(125.00).

(g) EXCEPTIONS. This section shall not apply to Baltimore
City, nor to Baltimore, Caroline, Carroll, Dorchester, Fred-
crick, Harford, Queen Anne's, Somerset, and Talbot counties,
in all of which jurisdictions such licenses shall not be issued.

10. BEER LICENSE, CLASS E (ON SALE)—STEAM-
BOATS. A Class E beer license shall be issued by the Comp-
troller, and shall authorize the owner or operator of any
