904 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 501

(b) FEB AND DURATION. (1) A fee of five dollars shall be
collected for a Public Storage or Tranportation Permit, an
Individual Storage Permit, a Non-Resident Dealer Permit, an
Import and Export Permit, and a Solicitor's Permit, and all
such permits shall expire on May 31 next after the date of issue.

(2) A Non-Beverage Permit shall be issued without the pay-
ment of any fee and shall not expire until cancelled or revoked.

(3) A Change of Domicile Permit shall be issued without the
payment of any fee and when issued shall cover only a specific
transaction. (4) A Bulk Sale Permit shall be issued without
the payment of any fee, shall cover only a specific transaction,
and shall expire ten days from the date of issue, except that
if such a time restriction of this permit would be an undue
burden, the Comptroller in his discretion may grant a reason-
able extension of time.

(c) NON-BEVERAGE PERMIT. A Non-Beverage Permit shall
authorize the holder thereof to purchase alcohol and alcoholic
beverages for use in compounding or manufacturing flavoring
extracts; medicinal, antiseptic or toilet preparations, or for
other similar purposes; for scientific or laboratory purposes;
for flavoring food products; or for sale by druggists or apothe-
caries upon the written prescription of a qualified physician.
It shall be unlawful under such a permit to use, sell or deliver
alcoholic beverages for beverage purposes or to use, sell or de-
liver any product produced with alcoholic beverages which is
fit for beverage purposes,

(d) CHANGE OF DOMICILE PERMIT. Such a permit shall au-
thorize the holder thereof to transport into Maryland his
private stock of alcoholic beverages for personal consumption
only, when such permit holder is changing his domicile into
the State of Maryland.

(e) BULK SALE PERMIT. A person whose license has expired
or otherwise has been discontinued, may within sixty days
subsequent to the last day the license was effective, apply to
the Comptroller for a permit to authorize sale of the stock of
alcoholic beverages on hand as of such day. Such a permit
shall authorize the sale, only to a license holder, which shall
be consummated within the period covered by such permit.

(f) PUBLIC STORAGE OR TRANSPORTATION PERMIT. Such a
permit shall authorize the operation of a warehouse for the
storing of alcoholic beverages for the accounts of other persons
and to transport for the accounts of other persons alcoholic
beverages into, within or out of the State of Maryland. Such
a permit may be issued for transportation or storage, or both.
No transportation permit shall be required of a license or per-
mit holder to deliver alcoholic beverages which under this
Article he is authorized to acquire, store, sell or use.
