amended by Chapter 275 of the Acts of 1931, relating to
compensation of election judges and clerks in Baltimore
County.

WHHRBAS, the aforesaid provisions of Section 193 have been
superseded by provisions of the Public General Laws; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted "by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 193 of Article 3 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Baltimore County",
sub-title "Elections", as said section was amended by Chapter
275 of the Acts of 1931, be and the same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

Approved April 16, 1947.

CHAPTER 442.
(House Bill 686)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 477 and 478 of Article 3 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Baltimore County", sub-title "Lakeland", relating to
the village of Lakeland.

WHEREAS, the aforesaid Sections 477 and 478 of Article 3
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition)
have long been obsolete because the village of Lakeland is now
within the limits of Baltimore City; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 477 and 478 of Article 3 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Balti-
more County", sub-title "Lakeland", be and the same are
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

Approved April 16, 1947.

CHAPTER 443.
(House Bill 687)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 507 and 508 of Article 3 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Baltimore County", sub-title "Mt. Washington".
