WHEREAS, the aforesaid provisions of Section 42 have been
repealed by implication by Chapter 225 of the Acts of 1941;
therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 42 of Article 3 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition) title "Baltimore County,"
subtitle, ''Bills of Exchange and Promissory Notes," be and
the same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And, be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1st, 1947.

CHAPTER 440.
(House Bill 684)

AN ACT to repeal Section 347A of Article 3 of the Cole of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition) title "Balti-
more County", sub-title "Health and Sanitation (Metro-
politan District)", as said section was enacted by Chapter
501 of the Acts of 1931, relating to construction work in
the Baltimore County Metropolitan District.

WHEREAS, the provisions of the aforesaid Section 347A are
inconsistent with later provisions of the Metropolitan District
law placing a smaller limit on the amount of construction
work that can be done by day labor; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 347A of Article 3 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition) title ''Baltimore
County," sub-title "Health and Sanitation (Metropolitan
District)" be and the same is hereby repealed.

SEC 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1st, 1947.
