CHAPTER 58.
(Senate Bill 206)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 20 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Somerset County", sub-title "Roads", said new section
to be known as Section 380A and to follow immediately
after Section 380 of said Article, relating to reserve
funds of the Liquor Control Board.

SECTIONl. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article 20
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Somerset County", sub-title "Roads", said
new section to be known as Section 380A and to follow
immediately after Section 380 of said Article, and to read
as follows:

380A. (1) From and after May 1, 1947, and until
May 1, 1951, the amounts paid to the County Commission-
ers of Somerset County as provided in Section 73 of Article
2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1943 Supplement),
shall be pledged and used exclusively for the following
purpose:

The construction, extension or repair of a minimum of
fifty miles of public roads to be completed at a rate of not
less than twelve and one-half miles per year, using such
materials and construction methods as the County Com-
missioners may select, provided it be black top or any
other hard surface material, and the said construction,
extension or repair to be commenced and completed, first
in the Asbury Election District from Burns Sterling's
Store through Byrdtown for a distance of eight-tenths of
a mile, more or less, and then in the following election
districts as the County Commissioners may authorize:

Lawson's Election District

Smith's Island Election District

Brinkley's Election District Nos. 1 and 2

Dublin Election District

Westover Election District

Fairmount Election District

East Princess Anne Election District

West Princess Anne Election District

Mount Vernon Election District

St. Peter's Election District

Dames Quarter Election District
