two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 51.
(Senate Bill 163)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
1 of Chapter 230 of the Acts of 1945, to correct a typo-
graphical error.

WHEREAS, it was intended to repeal Section 331 of
Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Washington County", sub-title
"Hagerstown", sub-heading "Mayor and City Council", but
by typographical error the Act repealed Section 321 of
said Article which related to an entirely different subject
rather than the one mentioned in said Chapter 230; and

WHEREAS, it is desired to remove any doubt as to the
section repealed; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 1 of Chapter 230 of the Acts of 1945, be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

Section 331 of Article 22 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Washing-
ton County", sub-title "Hagerstown", sub-heading "Mayor
and City Council", be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.
