Board of Fire Commissioners. This Act shall not apply to
the City of Annapolis.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

(House Bill 336)
AN ACT to add three new sections to Article 3 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Baltimore County", to be under sub-title "Lake Roland",
said new sections to be known as Sections 392, 393 and
394 and to follow immediately after Section 391H of
said Article, making it unlawful to carry or discharge
firearms on Lake Roland or on the lands adjoining said
lake owned by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore,
and authorzing the Board of Recreation and Parks of the
Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to make rules and
regulations as to the use of said lake and the adjoining
property owned by the Mayor and City Council of Balti-
more for recreational and other purposes and providing
penalties for the violation of the provisions of said sub-title
or any lawful rule or regulation made under the authority
of Section 393.
WHEREAS, Lake Roland and certain lands adjoining said
Lake, situated in Baltimore County, are owned by the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore and are under the supervision
and control of the Board of Recreation and Parks of said
municipality; and
WHEREAS, said Lake and property are used by a large
number of people, many of whom are children; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to make the use of said property
as safe as possible; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That three new sections be and they are hereby added
to Article 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Baltimore County", to be under sub-
title "Lake Roland", said new sections to be known as Sec-
